And, it all happens SO FAST.
We work with people every week who need to sell their house fast.
From people in foreclosure, going through a divorce, relocating and can’t sell their The Colony house, those who own a vacant house they don’t want to deal with anymore… to landlords tired of dealing with tenants, people who inherited a house they don’t want, good folks who lost their job and just can’t afford the payment anymore and can’t afford to pay a real estate agent their fees to sell it, to people who owe more on their house than it’s worth and listing with an agent just isn’t an option.
What all of these people we help have in common is…
- They deserve to receive fair treatment
- They need a quick solution that puts cash in their pocket right away

The Colony Tx
Created in 1969 as an attempt to make a “dream city,” The Colony has expanded into a medium-sized suburb of Dallas. The original goal was to create a colony, a community of single-family homes, modeled after the city of Dallas itself. Even though this city started small, it has grown into a thriving cultural and recreational area. In 2011, CNN Money voted The Colony as one of the “Best 100 Places to Live.” It was also named Sportstown for the state of Texas by Sports Illustrated, namely due to its construction of the Five-Star Athletic Complex. D Magazine described The Colony in the following way, “It feels like a city your fifth-grader might have designed for a class project.” It is true that The Colony is bursting with endless attractions. Along with the sports complex, there is also a water park, a marina, a Frisbee golf course, an indoor and outdoor soccer stadium, two golf clubs, and, to satisfy the dreams of fifth-graders everywhere, the neighborhood homes all have big yards, perfect for running around and exploring. Lewisville Lake is also located only a few miles away.
With so many recreational activities, one would expect a large population of children in The Colony, and that is certainly true. About 26% of the population is under the age of 17. The median age in the city is 33 years old, slightly younger than some of the surrounding suburbs. This city also attracts single, working professionals who are drawn to the cultural and recreational opportunities, while at the same time being close enough to work in Dallas. Single residents make up 26% of the population. About three-fourths of residents own their own homes, and the majority of homes are single-family detached residences. However, 21% of residences are apartment complexes and high-rise apartments, providing many housing choices in the city. The median income in The Colony is $82,745. The median listing price of houses is $396K, and the median closing price is $177K.
The children in The Colony are served by two school districts, Lewisville Independent School District and Little Elm Independent School District. Lewisville ISD has built six elementary schools, two middle schools, and one high school within the city limits of The Colony. Some of the elementary schools have received high ratings according to GreatSchools rating system, and the middle schools and high schools have received average ratings. True to its ideal of an inclusive, dynamic community, The Colony is located inside the community college district, Collin College.
Designed with an emphasis on quality of life and residential activities, The Colony has continued to attract working professionals and families to enjoy the fun atmosphere of the city. The Colony keeps growing as it embraces its future. Most recently, it created a partnership with Nebraska Furniture Mart, which will be one of the largest retail and entertainment destinations in North America. Life in The Colony is fast-paced for such a small city, but it still provides the community feel that its original founders wanted when they set out to create a “dream city.”
